Cotswold Airport, Kemble, is delighted to launch the 2010 annual Battle of Britain Air Show on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September.
The 2009 show was the first year that we changed from an Open Day to make a specific celebration of the Battle of Britain which was met with a great response. There will be the a huge range of things for all the family to do from static aircraft to Military Vehicles, Classic Cars, Historic Re-Enactors and trade stands. We are also pleased to announce that we have held the ticket prices from 2009 so book now to take advantage of great advance prices. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Cotswold Airport for the 3rd great Air Show here of the year!
There will be a small afternoon flying display of vintage aeroplanes starting at 2.00pm and you will get the chance to visit all the flying organisations based at Cotswold Airport including The Flying Club, Cotswold Helicopters, Fly2Help, Ultimate High, the Britannia and Buccaneer Preservation Societies, Cotswold Flying School, Kemble Flying Club and of course Delta Jets, and their outstanding collection of privately owned vintage jets. Refreshments will be available and the popular AV8 restaurant will be open.
The RAF Benevolent Fund and Fly2Help, our two favourite charities, will also be involved.
NOTE:
Entry to this event will be signposted via the North Gate, Jackaments Bottom Lane entrance.
PLEASE DO NOT USE SAT NAV, Use the yellow AA event signs on the A433 from Tetbury or Cirencester.
The main gate will be closed to all show traffic
