Cotswold Airport appoints Lee Myall as new CEO as Suzannah Harvey steps back

Kemble, Gloucestershire – 1st October 2026 – Cotswold Airport has appointed experienced Gloucestershire businessman Lee Myall as its new Chief Executive Officer as Suzannah Harvey steps back from the day-to-day running of the family-owned airport.

A company director and serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in growing and developing businesses, Myall has been working closely with Cotswold Airport over recent months, with particular involvement in planning and estates matters.

His appointment will see him take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the airport alongside oversight of its Estates business and a wider role in developing new commercial opportunities across the group.

Suzannah Harvey has played a central role in the transformation of Cotswold Airport since her father, Ronan Harvey, purchased the former RAF Kemble site from the Ministry of Defence in 2001. She was also recently appointed Honorary Commander of the 99ERS USAF based at nearby RAF Fairford.

Today, the 532-acre site is a thriving centre for aviation and aerospace, handling more than 36,000 aircraft movements a year and providing a home for a diverse community of businesses including being a centre for sustainable aviation.

Suzannah Harvey said:

“After a great deal of consideration, I have made the decision to step back from the day-to-day running of the airport to focus on my other passions and business interests.

“I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Cotswold Airport over the last 20 years. The business is in a great position, with a fantastic team in place, strong demand and some very exciting opportunities ahead.

“Lee has been working closely with us over recent months and has developed a real understanding of both the business and the opportunities presented by the wider site. His commercial experience, together with his knowledge of planning and estates, makes him extremely well placed to lead the airport through its next chapter.

“While I am stepping back from the day-to-day operation, I will remain as Chair of the board and look forward to continuing to support Lee and the team as the airport develops.

“I would like to thank everyone across the airport for the tremendous support they have given me and for the contribution they continue to make to its success.”

Lee Myall said:

“Cotswold Airport is a remarkable business and a very special place. Having worked with Suzannah, Ronan and the team over recent months, I have had the opportunity to understand not only how the airport operates, but also the enormous potential that exists across the wider site.

“My immediate priority will be to work with the existing management team to build on the very strong position the business is already in, supporting our tenants and customers while developing opportunities across both the aviation and estates businesses.

“There is a great team here and I am delighted to be taking on the role. I look forward to working with our staff, tenants, customers and the wider local community as we develop the next chapter in Cotswold Airport’s story.”

The appointment follows a strengthening of Cotswold Airport’s senior management structure earlier this year, including the appointment of Graham Carter as Group Managing Director and the promotion of Antonia (Toni) Silk to Operations Director.
