See the Cotswolds, a Protected landscape and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We operate the UK's largest fleet of 2 seat Spitfires, backed up with full engineering support and spares.
Selected dates throughout the summer There is nothing quite like the sensation of hovering in a powerful, fast-moving helicopter - looking down at the ground just a few feet below. But there is no time to ponder, as your pilot has applied power and you can feel the helicopter accelerating over the ground and now you are climbing, flying away to 1000 feet. Whilst you admire the breath-taking countryside, your pilot will point out the local landmarks. Gradually the helicopter returns gently to earth. Don't forget to take your camera, so you can you can re-live the experience with friends…
Selected Saturdays throughout the year Britannia Series 253 C.Mk1 XM496 ‘Regulus’ ( the very last Britannia to fly) is located in the heart of rural Gloucestershire at Cotswold Airport near Kemble and can be viewed on the public open days. The preservation of “The Whispering Giant”, as the Britannia is affectionately known, has been a labour of love for all the volunteers who have taken XM496 from being close to being scrapped to a restored, although un-flyable, aircraft. For further details of the XM496 story please visit this page where you will find details of the restoration.
