Cotswold Airport Takes Centre Stage at Cirencester Park Polo Club with Landmark Sponsorship Partnership

Two of the Cotswolds’ best-known organisations have teamed up in a new three-year partnership that will see one of the country’s most prestigious polo grounds renamed the Cotswold Airport Meadow Ground.

Cotswold Airport and Cirencester Park Polo Club have announced a major commercial partnership designed to celebrate the region’s rich heritage while promoting the Cotswolds as a destination for world-class sport, business and leisure.

The agreement gives Cotswold Airport naming rights to the Club’s Meadow Ground, which will now become the Cotswold Airport Meadow Ground, alongside extensive branding, hospitality and joint marketing opportunities throughout the polo season.

The partnership brings together two organisations with strong local roots and international reputations. Cotswold Airport has developed into one of the UK’s leading private aviation hubs and a centre for sustainable aviation innovation, while Cirencester Park Polo Club is recognised as one of Britain’s premier polo venues, attracting players and spectators from across the UK and overseas.

Suzannah Harvey, CEO of Cotswold Airport, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Cirencester Park Polo Club, extending our relationship with an organisation that shares our commitment to excellence, heritage and innovation.

“Renaming the Meadow Ground is far more than a branding exercise. It represents the start of a long-term partnership between two iconic Cotswold institutions that are passionate about showcasing everything this region has to offer.

“Both the airport and the polo club welcome visitors from across the UK and around the world. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to promote the Cotswolds as a destination for business, tourism and world-class sporting events.”

Lucy Potter, Club Manager Cirencester Park Polo Club, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Cotswold Airport as a principal partner of the Club. The airport is one of Gloucestershire’s most recognised businesses and shares our ambition to continue developing the Club while maintaining the traditions and standards for which Cirencester Park Polo Club is renowned.

“The Cotswold Airport Meadow Ground will become a focal point of our season, and we look forward to developing a partnership that benefits our members, visitors and the wider community.”

Alongside the new ground naming rights, the partnership includes sponsorship of the Club’s Armed Forces Match, corporate hospitality, reciprocal marketing and a programme of collaborative events designed to bring together aviation, polo and business audiences throughout the three-year agreement.

The organisations also plan to explore a range of future initiatives, including aviation-themed hospitality, networking events and other experiences that showcase both venues and encourage visitors to discover more of what the Cotswolds has to offer.

The partnership begins immediately and the Cotswold Airport Meadow Ground branding will be introduced for the 2026 polo season.
